“Build it for you and nobody else. At the end of the day, you have to be happy with it.” – Kevin Kwok

Some builds scream for attention.

Others don’t have to.

They just exist with presence — low, wide, aggressive, unapologetic — and the crowd naturally gravitates toward them.

Kevin Kwok’s Crazy Grape widebody Charger is exactly that kind of car.

Not built for trophies.
Not built for approval.
Not built to follow trends.

Built for him.

And honestly… that’s what makes it hit harder than most.

The Man Behind the Machine

Before you ever see the car, you should understand the person.

Because Kevin isn’t a full-time builder, influencer, or shop owner chasing clout.

He’s something way more grounded.

A 24-year veteran medical sales professional, balancing a demanding career in healthcare with family life, community involvement, and his personal passions. He’s the type of guy who works all day, shows up for his kids, volunteers as a strength and conditioning coach, bowls league nights with friends… and still somehow finds time to wrench in the garage.

It’s that discipline — that blue-collar grind mentality — that bleeds directly into how he builds cars.

Everything intentional.
Everything earned.
Nothing rushed.

At his core, Kevin is simple:

Family first.
Work hard.
Do what you love.

Cars just happen to be where all that energy gets poured.

Where the Obsession Started

Like most of us, it started young.

Hot Wheels. Posters. Daydreams.

Watching cars rip past and imagining one day having something of his own.

His first real step into the scene came with a Lexus IS300, a platform that introduced him to the world of modifications. Wheels, suspension, exhaust, lip kits — the typical first build stuff. But it wasn’t about flexing parts. It was about learning.

Then life happened.

Career. Responsibility. Family.

The Lexus got sold.

Then came a 2001 Honda S2000 — another fun, driver-focused car that scratched the itch for a while. But when Kevin became a father, priorities shifted again.

The S2000 left too.

For a bit, the passion went quiet.

Not gone… just waiting.

The Moment That Lit the Fire Again

Everything changed at Raceworz.

Kevin attended with his brother Derek and friend Drew, just planning to hang out, take in the show, and enjoy the day.

But walking through rows of builds — seeing owners proudly standing next to creations they poured their hearts into — something hit.

Hard.

“I told myself right there,” Kevin says,
‘Next year, I’m bringing a car.’

No excuses.

And he meant it.

Four Doors. Family First. Power Always.

When it came time to choose a platform, reality played a role.

Kevin’s wife had one simple request:

“It has to be four doors.”

Fair.

But Kevin wasn’t about to sacrifice performance.

So he found the perfect middle ground:

Dodge Charger Scat Pack.

Big.
Practical.
Family friendly.
And packing serious V8 attitude.

It checked every box.

And from day one, he already knew…

It wasn’t staying stock.

More Than Just a Show Car

Kevin doesn’t build with ego.

He builds with emotion.

“When I drive it, I feel proud,” he says. “I think about all the time, late nights, and effort that went into it.”

That’s the difference.

This isn’t a parts catalog car.

It’s a time capsule of effort.

Every mod tells a story. Every change represents growth. Every year, the car evolves — just like he does.

Because Kevin has this one unique habit:

He changes the look every year.

New direction. New vision. New energy.

“Visions come and go,” he says. “But the ones that stick — those get built.”

Right now?

This is the vision.

And it’s wild.

The Build – Crazy Grape Scat

Powertrain

  • Gen 3 Whipple Supercharger (Stage 2)
  • Corsa Extreme Cat-Back Exhaust
  • Custom Strut Bar
  • Billet Technology Engine Trim
  • Family Customs Radiator Cover
  • Lighting Trendz Engine Bay Lighting

Supercharged V8 torque in a full-size sedan is already ridiculous…
Add a Whipple and it becomes violent in the best way possible.

Suspension

  • Universal Air Suspension – Solution Series
  • Airlift Management

Low when parked. Functional when rolling. Perfect stance on demand.

Wheels / Brakes

  • 20x12 Ferrada CM2 Widebody Wheels
  • 305/35R20 Copper Tires
  • R1 Concepts Big Brake Kit

Meaty. Aggressive. Properly planted.

Interior

  • Carbon Fiber Steering Wheel
  • Barton Shifter
  • Alcantara seats, headliner & door panels
  • Diamond-stitched mats
  • Midnight Purple accents
  • Low-Glow lighting (coming soon)

Comfort meets custom. Clean without being overdone.

Audio

  • Custom trunk setup
  • Dual 8” Addictive Audio subs

Because cruising should feel cinematic.

Exterior

  • Lions Widebody Kit
  • TechWrap “Crazy Grape” wrap
  • Killer Bee Hood
  • Carbon Customs Spoiler
  • Rhino Push Bar
  • Battle Aero V4 Chassis Wing
  • Low-Glow underglow

Widebody. Purple. Supercharged. Winged.
Zero chance this car blends in.

And it’s not trying to.

Built With the Right People

Kevin didn’t do this alone.

Big love to:

  • Unleashed Motorsports – Joe
  • Showsome Designs – Cuda
  • Tint Pros – Alex

Because every great build has a crew behind it.

The Philosophy

If there’s one thing Kevin stands on, it’s this:

Build for YOU.

Not Instagram.
Not trends.
Not approval.

If it makes you smile when you walk away and look back?

You did it right.

And honestly… that’s the purest form of car culture there is.

What’s Next?

Nothing crazy planned — just refinement:

  • Interior lighting upgrades
  • Possibly a new wrap direction

Because evolution never stops.

Dream Car?

He laughs when you ask.

Sure, an Audi R8 would be cool.

But truthfully?

He already drives his dream.

Because he built it.

And that’s way more meaningful than anything sitting on a showroom floor.

Kevin Kwok

A husband.
A father.
A professional.
A builder.

And proof that you don’t need a shop or a sponsorship list to create something unforgettable.

Just passion… and the guts to follow it.
